Theresa Hartley, CCMEP receives TACME’s
2011 Outstanding Achievement Award
Congratulations to Theresa Hartley, Associate Director, CME for Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston for receiving the 2011 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education at the 2011 Texas CME Conference in Houston, Texas, July 9th – 10th.
Prior to joining BCM, Theresa was the Manager of Medical Staff Services and Continuing Medical Education at Christus St. Joseph, Houston. Theresa has been a very active part of the Texas CME arena. She served seven years on the Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education board, including two years as the Southeast Region representative and five years as Treasurer. While serving as Treasurer, Theresa was instrumental in establishing online dues payment. She served the TACME board with integrity, excellence and unwavering commitment. Theresa has been a speaker for several Texas CME conferences. She became certified as a CME professional (CCMEP) in June 2009.
Theresa is described by her CME colleagues as wonderful, spirited, giving, intelligent, knowledgeable, professional and funny. TACME and many colleagues from across Texas have benefited from her generous contributions and leadership.
The TACME Board is pleased to recognize Ms. Hartley as she demonstrates the
performance and commitment to excellence for which this award was designed.
