Regions
The Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (TACME) is made up of four regions– the Northeast/West, Southeast, South, and West. Each region is represented on the TACME Board by a Regional Coordinator, who is elected to office every two years.
TACME members in each region are encouraged to hold meetings on a regular basis with others in their region. Currently, the TACME Northeast Region is the most organized where CME professionals in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas have been organized since prior to the existence of TACME. The TACME Southeast Region, consisting of the Houston/Galveston area and surrounding counties, is also well-organized. TACME members there have had several regional meetings since the inception of TACME.
Below is a map of Texas with the approximate boundaries of each TACME region.
