The TACME
scholarship is intended to provide 2 scholarships that will fund the conference registration
fee, two hotel nights and a travel stipend to CME professionals
interested in expanding their professional knowledge of CME compliance
requirements.
What are the criteria for the TACME Scholarship?
To be eligible
for a TACME Scholarship, a person must
- Be working
in a CME accredited provider institution/ organization and have been
employed with a CME provider organization a minimum of one year as of April
1, 2008.
- Be a member
of TACME for a minimum of one year
- Be a U.S.
Citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
- Have a
strong interest in improving your CME professional skills
- Demonstrate
financial need
- Work for a
CME provider organization in one of the TACME Regions
- Should you
be chosen as a scholarship recipient, be required to write a brief article
for the TACME Fall Newsletter identifying the most important thing(s) you
learned from attending the conference
- Should you
be chosen, provide confirmation from your provider institution/organization
that you will be permitted to accept the scholarship and attend the annual
2008 Texas CME conference
How do I apply
for the TACME Scholarship and when is the deadline?
To apply for the
TACME Scholarship, you must complete the Texas Alliance for CME (TACME)

For your
application to be considered, ALL of the application, including the essay on why
you are applying for scholarship and why you should be chosen over the other
scholarship candidates, needs to be completed and submitted to
