Annual Texas CME Professional Development Conference
The annual Texas CME Professional Development Conference is a collaboration between the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (TACME) designed to bring together CME providers from in and around Texas in an effort to:
Introduce CME newcomers to the accreditation process
Enhance CME planning and management skills
Provide updates on the environment in which physicians practice medicine
Establish a practical forum for CME providers to share ideas and learn from each other
Who Should Attend:
CME activity planners and program staff
Physician CME committee chairs and members
CME staff and physicians from organizations seeking accreditation as a CME provider
Individuals in related professions who collaborate with CME providers
Call for Abstract Proposals: 2024 Texas CME Professional Development Conference
The Texas Medical Association (TMA) and Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (TACME) are excited to announce the call for abstract proposals for the 2024 Texas CME Professional Development Conference. We invite you to submit your abstract proposal(s) for consideration, as your expertise and contributions are invaluable in making this conference a success.
Conference Overview This conference is your opportunity to stay abreast of CME updates, gain insights into best practices, and connect with fellow CME professionals. Our target audience includes CME activity planners, physician CME committee chairs and members, CME staff/physicians from organizations seeking accreditation as a CME provider, and individuals in related professions who collaborate with CME providers.
Registration Fees will remain the same from previous years. Details include:
One registration included in the annual fee for TMA-accredited providers
$335 (Early Bird rate) for additional registrants and ACCME-accredited providers by May 31, 2024 (Wednesday-Friday: includes breakfast on Thursday and Friday, lunch on Thursday, and reception on Thursday)]
$360 after May 31, 2024
A special rate of $175 for physicians attending Thursday only
While we are in the process of finalizing the details for the conference, we are tentatively scheduling the conference for June 26-28, 2024, near Austin. We believe that it is important to start gathering abstract submissions as we work towards creating a successful event.

The deadline for submitting an abstract is January 31, 2024.
