September 21, 2017 Noon-1 pm CT Cost: Alliance Members: $25, Non-members: $55 Andrew McCrea, PhD, Scientific Director, Annenberg Center for Health Sciences, will illustrate best practices in population-specific educational initiatives for health care providers by highlighting a recent gender-affirmation pilot. During the webinar, Dr. McCrea will also examine how inclusion initiatives were used to determine overall educational design, and develop a new outcomes methodology to measure the effect of attitudinal and behavior shifts on clinical skills and practice changes. After attending this webinar, you should be able to extrapolate educational strategies that promote compassionate and culturally competent care for underserved populations with specific needs and critical care gaps; and utilize population-specific outcome measures that assess attitudinal and behavioral shifts in clinical skills and practice changes.
